Description:

This course will provide the candidate with basic dance foundations, as they relate to education, through exploration of dance fundamentals, philosophies and pedagogies. An overview of a variety of dance forms and the importance of dance technique will be developed through involvement in: practical and theoretical workshops; seminars; large and small group assignments; independent learning forums, in accordance with the curriculum guidelines established by the Ministry of Education.
