Description:

This course will expand upon the candidates understanding from Part I of the fundamentals, philosophies and pedagogies of dance. The course will provide opportunities to broaden the candidate?s knowledge of several dance forms, which are offered at both the elementary and secondary levels. Program planning, assessment and evaluation strategies will be developed through the involvement in: practical and theoretical workshops; seminars; large and small group assignments; independent learning forums; a variety of reflective practices, in accordance with the curriculum guidelines established by the Ministry of Education.
