Prerequisites:

All BScN courses at the 2000-level with a minimum grade of 60% or SAT, or all RPN to BScN courses at the 2000-level witha a minimum grade of 60% or SAT; PSYC 1036 and SOCI 1016.

Antirequisites:

NSGD 3006

Hours:

Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

This course focuses on the exploration of the evolution of scientific nursing theories over time. The role and relationship of nursing theory to practice, education and research will be presented using selected grand, mid-range and practice specific theories as examples.
