UNIV 3006  Experiential Learning for Arts and Science Students

Prerequisites:

Students must be in their third or fourth year of study and are completing a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Students must have a 75% overall average to enroll. Students wishing to take this course must secure a faculty supervisor and apply in writing to their Department Chair no later than March 15 for the Spring/Summer term; July 15 for the Fall; and November 15 for the Winter.

Hours:

A minimum of 60 hours of placement for a single term plus Course, Advisor meetings.

Description:

Students will identify an experiential learning opportunity in the community that reflects their current field of study and future ambitions. Students will work with a community partner to complete at least 60 hours of placement as well as academic assignments.
