Description:

This course examines various aspects of eukaryotic cell biology, including basic cell structure (the plasma membrane and its components, organelle structure and function), as well as cellular activity such as proliferation, motility/migration and differentiation. The cell cycle, cell signaling & the cytoskeleton are also be discussed. This course also explores disease states resulting from cellular dysfunction, such as cancer.
