Description:

The Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction additional qualification course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of each candidate, in the design, delivery and assessment of curriculum through a variety of common and emerging educational technologies. This course provides an introductory look at educational technology, aimed at developing candidates' basic foundational skills for the use and integration of information and communication technology in the classroom, while critically examining issues and strategies for integration. Key components of this course include: examples from elementary and secondary schools, in-depth discussions on central themes, and practical opportunities to put new learning into action.
