Description:

In this course, students will gain experience with a selection of methods and materials in use from the Renaissance period onwards. Students will learn the characteristics of different paint media, colour mixing, and colour interaction. In their coursework, students will utilize various painting methods including alla prima, underpainting, and glazing.
