Description:

This course will introduce the student to some of the key figures of ancient Greece such as Solon, Alexander the Great, or Cleopatra through the study of ancient biographical authors such as Plutarch and Cornelius Nepos, as well as through other historiographical sources. The selection will vary from year to year according to the interests of the instructor and the students. This course may be credited towards History.
