One hour of lecture and three hours of studio work per week for one term.

Description:

In this course, students will engage in studio-based activities that will build understanding of the formal elements of 2-D and 3-D art forms and the fundamentals of art. Coursework will focus on core concepts, such as space, form, content, principles of design within a context of current studio practices. Students will gain experience with concept development, as well as critical and creative problem solving.
