Description:

An examination of the basic components of the practicum including functions, roles, responsibilities and related skills; field experiences conducted in the elementary and secondary schools for the equivalent of twelve weeks throughout the academic year. Students are assigned to schools according to their selected divisions of concentration. Associate teachers are selected annually from the staffs of the public and separate schools and certain First Nations' schools. In order to practice teach in Ontario schools, student's must provide a clear criminal reference check.
