This course provides conceptual and methodological frameworks for designing and using assessment and evaluation techniques for adult learners. Students explore such question as, ?How can diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments support student success?? ?How is evaluation integrated with instruction?? ?How are various techniques, designs, scoring procedures, and reporting procedures useful in an adult-oriented program?? ?How can testing procedures build adults? confidence in their ability to learn?? ?What is the place of assessment in self-directed learning??
