Teacher candidates focus on contemporary media arts as applied to direct experiences and explore various traditional and emerging media such as photography, film, video, animation, and combine them within interactive environments. Candidates learn current theory, philosophy, and methodology pertaining to media arts education, and become familiar with various teaching strategies and approaches relevant to the classroom.
