Teacher candidates build attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary to develop, implement, and evaluate education experiences and programs beyond the walls of the classroom. Candidates consider teaching and learning strategies such as experiential learning; inquiry-based learning; adventure programming; cooperative activities; personal reflection; and, explore how environment shapes our teaching, learning, understandings, and identities.
