Description:

This course will focus on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes educational leaders need to enhance the use of information technology for school improvement. Information technology can be used as a management tool, a communication system within and outside the school and its community, and as a resource to enhance instructional leadership for curriculum development, implementation and review. A key component of the course will be the introduction of software that facilitates daily tasks of the school administrator. Another area of emphasis will be how to use information technology to efficiently communicate with all of the school146s educational stakeholders. In addition, educational leaders will explore staff development methods for using information technology to improve students learning outcomes.
