CLAS 2416 The History of Ancient Greece: From the Bronze Age to the Death of Cleopatra
Hours:Three hours of lecture per week for one term.
Description:This course will introduce the student to the history of Ancient Greece from the Bronze Age to the fall of Cleopatra. Special attention will be paid to changing social, political, and economic structures as well as the origins and evolution of democracy, and the impact of imperial conquest on the social and political life of ancient Greece. This course may be credited towards History.
