ECON 1007 Introduction to Macroeconomics
Hours:Three hours of lecture and one hour of tutorial per week for one term.
Description:The course examines the principles and methods of modern macroeconomics. Elementary macroeconomic topics including methodology of economic analysis, the overview of the price system, macroeconomic aggregates and their determination, simple equilibrium macroeconomic models, business cycles, fiscal and monetary policies, money and banking, inflation, unemployment, exchange rates, and balance of payments, are covered in the course.
