Hours:Three hours of lecture per week for one term.
Description:This course examines labour market theories, trends, policies and analysis from a Canadian perspective. Such topics as historical background and trends, labour demand, labour supply, wage differentials, investment in human capital, age and gender discrimination, comparable worth and employment equity, labour laws, unions, social insurance and other applications are included.
