MATH 2306 History of Mathematics
Prerequisites:Any 4U/OAC mathematics course or equivalent.
Hours:Three hours of lecture per week for one term.
Description:A survey of many of the great theorems in the history of mathematics, and their impact on mathematical discoveries and other scientific or philosophical ideas of the time. Theorems will range from the ""quadrature of the line"" to Cantor's concept of infinity.
