POLI 2106 Great Political Questions I
Hours:Three hours of lecture per week for one term.
Description:Who should rule? What is the best regime? What is the good life? Why do we have war? These timeless questions are at the heart of ancient political thinking. This course explores the origins of Western politics by looking at the ideas of great thinkers such as Plato and Aristotle. By understanding the origins of politics, we will better understand the politics of today. This course may be credited towards Classical Studies, History and Philosophy.
