HIST 3355 Topics in the History of Women and Gender in Canada
Prerequisites:Twelve credits of History with at least 3 credits at the 2000-level; or any 54 credits completed.
Hours:Three hours of lecture per week.
This course examines the history of women and gender in Canada. It considers the diversity of women’s experiences through the following themes: gender, race, and class, space and place, wage-earning and work, teaching and learning, crime and danger. This course may be credited towards Gender Equality and Social Justice.
