Description:

The underlying purpose of Inclusive Classroom, Part III is to introduce knowledge and skills in the design, delivery, programming, and assessment of inclusive education. Focusing on theory and practice underpinning inclusive education, candidates will examine topics and issues. Candidates who successfully complete EDUC 3745 will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers for the Additional Qualification Inclusive Classroom Part 3: Specialist The course requires a minimum of 125 hours of work by the candidate. Readings, assignments and consultation make up twenty-five of these hours, while 80 hours are devoted to face-to-face interaction. Of these 20 hours will be used for presentations. To fulfill course requirements candidates will be required to observe and report and reflect on several strategies and practices to promote an inclusive classroom
