Description:

Teacher candidates consider the characteristics and needs of students identified as learning disabled and theories of causes of learning disabilities, past and present. Candidates explore the history of the field of learning disabilities including different approaches used over time to support students who have been identified. Candidates examine current best practices in providing for students with learning disabilities.
