Description:

Teacher candidates investigate multiple understandings of the nature of knowledge and learning, and the stereotypes, prejudices, indifference and power structures that promote inequity. Candidates develop philosophies and methods that centralize culturally responsive pedagogies, democratic education, critical pedagogies, critical race theory, liberatory and emancipatory pedagogies.
