NURS 2395  Hope and Possibility Transformative Practicum

Prerequisites:

NURS 1276, NURS 1295, and NURS 1287

Corequisites:

NURS 2387 and NURS 2376

Restrictions:

This course is restricted to students enrolled in the BScN-SPP program.

Hours:

22.5 hours per week for nine weeks in a clinical practice setting and weekly reflective seminars as scheduled, equaling 202.5 total hours. (Note: Week nine may include a reciprocal practicum experience.)

Description:

In this course students apply knowledge and skills with individuals, families, groups and community. The focus is on providing health promotion, restoration and sustainability for individuals and families from the perspective of Hope and Possibility and related concepts.
