Description:
This course emphasizes experimental design and data analysis, including an introduction to SPSS. Topics include descriptive and inferential statistics with a focus on data screening, probability theory, hypothesis testing, z-tests, dependent and independent samples t-tests, simple and factorial analysis of variance and covariance, correlation, linear regression, factorial designs, as well as an introduction to ABA designs (including but not limited to multiple baseline, withdrawal/reversal designs) and nonparametric statistics such as chi-square.
