CHFS 3035. Restricted to students in the 4th Year of an Honours Program and approval of the Department is required. Students intending to enrol must apply in writing to the discipline no later than February 15.

Description:
Students are required to undertake an independent empirical or non-empirical investigation of a research question. Students are encouraged to approach a potential advisor during their third year of study and agree on a thesis topic. Prior to research implementation, a proposal (including REB approval if required), must be approved by the advisor. Faculty advisors provide advice and evaluate the final report, to be written in a style suitable for journal submission. Additional dissemination activities must be identified.
