CRJS 1087 and CRJS 2086

Antirequisites:

CRJS 4927 if taken in 2012-2013 or 2013-2014

Hours:

Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

Students explore issues involved in family law in Canada, such as divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, domestic violence, paternity and access/visitation. Important family law cases will be reviewed along with social theory related to the family. Students will develop critical thinking in the area of family law.
