Prerequisites:

Twelve credits of 2000 level studio which must include 3 credits from FAVA 2006, FAVA 2007 or FAVA 2406.

Hours:

Four hours of studio work per week for one term.

Description:

This course takes its lead from contemporary developments in the field of drawing and will introduce students to ideas that expand and challenge traditional understandings of drawing. Contemporary themes, trends, and approaches will be examined and also explored through studio-based assignments. Students will be expected to contextualize their drawing process and practice within the wider context of contemporary drawing. Students will be provided with the opportunity to develop independent work.
