Teacher candidates develop knowledge of fundamental concepts, drama, and instructional strategies in social studies for the primary/ junior divisions. Teacher candidates explore Social Studies curricula as well as broader topics such as multiculturalism, citizenship, social justice, current events, and global and character education.
