Description:

Classroom assistant candidates explore and acquire literacy strategies for Indigenous elementary school-aged children to assist in the creation of a balanced language arts program. Topics include: stages of literacy and literacy development, phonological and phonemic awareness, interconnectedness of oral language and understanding auditory-processing.
