Three credits of 1000 level English (excluding ENGL 1551 and ENGL 1552).

Description:

Texts have a rich history of depicting the ways humans live in and try to resolve conflict. Students examine representations of difficult situations and relationships, and attend to the various ways narrative represents life-altering experiences, from personal crisis to political upheaval. Specific content varies from year to year.
