Description:

The period from 1300 to 1600 provides our richest documentation of premodern beliefs and practices associated with sexuality. Students engage with scholarship on prostitution, marriage, sodomy, witchcraft and the various conflicts resulting from governmental and religious authorities’ attempts to regulate and define sexuality.
