NURS 2029  Clinical Practicum - Nursing in Specialized Settings: Women and Children

Prerequisites:

All NURS courses at the 1000 level with a minimum grade of 60% or SAT, BIOL 1011, BIOL 2707 and SOCI 1016; or enrollment in the RPN to BScN Program.

Corequisites:

NURS 2017

Antirequisites:

NURS 2027, NSGD 2029

Hours:

Fourteen hours of clinical practice per week for one term.

Description:

This clinical practice course provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skill in caring for women and children. Major foci are maternal and perinatal health, and common pediatric health challenges.
