Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

Students refine their ability to read unabridged Latin texts from a variety of genres of both Latin poetry and prose and gain an understanding of the philological approach to the study of cultural history. Students also gain an understanding of the characteristics of a variety of genres of Latin literature by studying them in the original Latin.
