Description:

This course examines the essential role of teacher/student and student/student communication in adult education. Student will explore such questions as: How can instructors communicate verbally, non-verbally and electronically to build and maintain supportive relationships with adult students? What are the features of effective course outlines, assignment instructions, and presentations? How can formative feedback contribute to the learning process? How can classes become communities of learners where students contribute constructively to one another's learning?
