Teacher candidates examine a range of legal, social, historical, and philosophical foundations of education through cultural and critical lenses. Candidates explore legal issues and professional responsibilities that guide teachers and other stakeholders in the context of educational foundations, policies, regulations, and the meanings attached to equity and social justice.
