Restrictions:

Restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education program.

Hours:

Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

An introduction to the physical activity needs of special populations such as individuals with physical or mental challenges, infants, and older adults with chronic disease conditions. Students examine specific physical activity strategies through adapted physical educational movement for specific developmental disabilities and chronic disease conditions.
