Description:

Students acquire practical, applied research experience relevant to their major research paper through a 96-hour (8 hours per week for 12 weeks) research-based placement with a government, not-for-profit, or private agency.  This course requires monthly meetings with MA in Sociology – Applied Social Research Advisor/Placement Officer and ongoing contact weekly with onsite staff at placement location.
