Description:

Students will learn about crime, including definitions; historical background; descriptions of some of the more common criminal organizations, such as the mafia, street gangs, outlaw motorcycle gangs, drug cartels, etc.; and criminal activities engaged in by organized crime such as drugs, prostitution, extortion, money laundering, smuggling, financial crime. The geographic focus will be on North America, with a focus on Canada.
