Description:

In this course, students will be introduced to time-based media such as video and digital art. Students will combine video and computer-based production with an examination of the history of video and digital art, and its role within contemporary practices. Hands-on exploration will be supplemented through lectures, demonstrations, reading, discussions, and critiques. Students do not need previous experience with video, digital, or sound art.
