Prerequisites:

All NURS courses at the 1000 level with a minimum grade of 60% or SAT; BIOL 1011 and BIOL 2707.

Corequisites:

NURS 2016, NURS 2526

Antirequisites:

NURS 2106, NSGD 2106

Restrictions:

Enrollment in the Collaborative BScN Program.

Hours:

Two hours of laboratory work and twelve hours of clinical practice per week for one term.

Description:

In this nursing practice course, students integrate the four processes of caring, critical thinking, communication, and change in the context of individuals experiencing health challenges. Students approach nursing care from the perspective of restoration and maintenance of health.
