Description:

Students learn about the origins and evolution of law, conceptions of justice and legal theory, legal institutions and practices in ancient Greece and Rome from the Archaic Period to the decline of the Western Roman Empire. Students pay attention to those legal principles and practices that contributed to the evolution of Western jurisprudence in later periods.
