Prerequisites:

Three credits of 1000 level ENGL (excluding ENGL 1501, ENGL 1502) or any 18 credits completed (excluding ENGL 1501, ENGL 1502, ENGL 2001, ENGL 2011)

ENGL 2015

1.5 hours of lecture and 1.5 hours of seminar a week

Description:

Students rehearse and perform in a workshop stage production in front of an audience. Students examine the theories and techniques underlying the dramatic arts, put them into practice, and critically reflect on that practice. Areas to be covered include play analysis techniques, steps to building a character, the rehearsal process, and the role of the director.
