Description:

Students learn how the misinformation about Canada's past and present treatment of Indigenous peoples is hampering reconciliation attempts. The coerced treaties, planned starvation, ceremony bans, confinement on reserves, forced sterilization, economic sabotage as well as the Indian Act stand between us and a more just future. Indigenous authored sources will be foundational throughout.
