Students learn to plan sample surveys, design questionnaires for different media (e.g., mail, internet, telephone, and face-toface), and select a sample of a large population. Through hands-on practice and workshops, students gain skills necessary to design and implement their original survey, analyse survey data, interpret and communicate the survey results, and assess the quality (reliability and validity) of survey data.
