Restrictions:

Restricted to students in the fourth year of the Honours English program who possess at least a 77% (B+) average in English. Approval of the Department is required prior to registration. Students wishing to take this course during the following Winter Session must apply in writing to the discipline no later than February 15.

Description:

The creative and critical writing honours essay consists of two parts: a creative writing project and a critical essay. In the critical essay, students demonstrate their grasp of critical theory and locate their creative work within a larger literary context.
