GEND 4205  Honours Seminar

Prerequisites:

Students must have completed 30 credits in any discipline including GEND 1006 OR GEND 1007.

Hours:

Three hours of seminar per week.

Description:

Students focus on decolonial and feminist-informed social justice research methods by scholars who analyze interlocking systems of gender, sexuality, race, colonial, disability, age, and economic oppression. Students consider a range of arguments, methods and methodologies in order to learn how scholars and researchers undertake and produce high quality research. Students work together as well as independently on original research projects that will incorporate fundamental concepts from contemporary anti-oppression theories.
