Teacher candidates apply their background knowledge in geography to the senior school context. Through an examination of the geography curriculum teacher candidates critically examine theory-based pedagogical approaches, strategies for student engagement, and current issues in geography education that broaden understanding and teaching skills with a sensitivity to diverse and inclusive learning environments.
