Description:
Students examine the character and composition of left-wing and right-wing extremist movements. Students learn about the history, development, and motivations of extremist movements. Students consider the tools and policy options that have been used to prevent and address extremism. Topics include international and domestic movements from the armed lone wolf terrorists to the well-organized and well-funded terrorist cells operating overseas.
