Description:
This course introduces students to the geographies of health and health care. Current theories, and methodologies, and case studies will be used to explore the importance of geography in understanding and explaining the spatial patterns of diseases including infectious, chronic and mental health problems. Health inequalities, health care provision and planning will also be examined in a global context.
